Our guest this week, Emily Cunningham, is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of True Moringa, and shares her story of bringing the benefits of “the miracle tree” to the U.S. In 2011, Emily’s co-founder Kwami had his sights set on becoming a rocket scientist. This week, we have an amazing powerhouse duo on the pod - Cameron and Alfred of VitalFit.
Cameron and Alfred started VitalFit as a part of their grad school thesis project at Babson. What was a gripe with commissioned sales clerks, flashy marketing, and lack of industry accountability turned into their full-time venture. It was ultimately a back injury from playing basketball that actually led us to their first product. Sick of taking ibuprofen and having no luck finding a natural alternative they felt like something was missing. Eventually, they came across tart cherry juice, which was surprisingly effective and began working on the way to best deliver its effects and apply it to the health and wellness space.Read More

OH EM GEE YOU GUYS. It’s almost 2019. Can you believe it? It hasn’t been a full year for the podcast, but we can’t believe the opportunities that this year has brought us. If you’re here listening - we’re truly SHOOK, humbled, honored (all of the above) for your genuine love and support during this journey. Sometimes we’re going 10 million miles per hour and to take the time to slow down and take a lot of time for appreciation and gratitude feels really really good right now. Hopefully you feel the same!
We hope that whatever your plans are for New Year’s Eve that we can inspire you to set a couple of intentions for the New Year. We both prefer intentions to resolutions - we discuss in the episode, but resolutions feel like they don’t last long and are more focused on outward things (typically).Read More
Hi Loves! You may have noticed that we didn't post an episode today Maybe you didn’t, because maybe you’re doing the same we are. We decided to take an intentional episode break this week, Christmas 2019. Beck is on the trip of a lifetime with her husband and meeting up with family, and Meg is cozy in Pennsylvania, spending time with her family (and probably frantically wrapping some last minute gifts).
We really wanted to practice what we preach here - which is why we’re intentionally not uploading a post today, December 24th. You can expect an important SOLO episode to go live next Monday, December 31st. In the meantime, check out our 33 (OMG! this is crazy!) prior podcasts available on Apple and Stitcher.
Let us know what you’re up to - whether you’re taking a break for the holidays, or your break and celebration has already happened or is still to come. We’d love to chat in our Facebook group and on Instagram.Read More

We know we’ve talked about in leading up to, and after the event, but we TRULY cannot express how grateful we are to have had our first live event at the amazing Outdoor Voices, in Boston.
One thing that we both have dealt with while balancing the pod and our 9-5’s (and seriously, EVERYONE deals with in today’s world) is STRESS. And let’s be honest - we’re not going to prevent stress in our lives…so we wanted to bring a panel of amazing women who could talk to us about how to MANAGE our stress better in our day to day lives.Read More
We’re blown away that founder and CEO Tara Foley took the time out of her evening to record with us, and share her entrepreneurial story.
Follain is an independent retailer that thinks about the clean beauty industry differently. The brand is built on founder Tara Foley’s passion for safe ingredients and desire to act as a platform for the niche makers that share her perspective in the non-toxic personal care movement. Follain vigorously vets brands based on the highest standards of performance and health to feature a passionately selected portfolio of skincare, hair care, and cosmetic products for their shoppers.
Before Follain, Tara researched safe and sustainable skincare, apprenticing on an organic lavender farm in France, and with a private label skin care company in Maine. With degrees in public policy and business, Tara's vision, passion, and activism fuel Follain’s growth, and its mission of improving the health and lives of others.
In this episode, we talk about Tara’s journey from working a job that she wasn’t fully passionate about, to diving headfirst into business school and winning a business proposal to open her retail storefront.Read More
